
George is survived by his children, Delores (Michael) Stec of Youngsville, Douglas (Lisa) Morton of Corry, John (Lily) Morton of Harrisburg and Dean (Karen) Morton of Bear Lake, 2 sisters, Flora (Ralph) Miller of Bear Lake, and Grace (Kenneth) Knapp of Franklin, his grandchildren, Timothy, Jeremy, Ashton, Tina, Melissa, Darrell, Carley, Timmy and Michael, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Smokey. He loved to garden and took great pride in his glads. When the season came, he enjoyed making homemade maple syrup. He was always making bread, pies, and cookies to share.


He was a great source of information on all kinds of subjects. George loved his family and friends and enjoyed when they stopped in to say hi and chat. Supervisor and participated in the Farmers market for over 26 years. 4H for 20 years, the Farm Bureau, served as a Sunday School teacher and Lay minister for the Bear Lake United Methodist Church, was the Freehold Twp. George was a member of the Gideon’s for 24 years, the Warren Co. He worked as a dairy farmer his whole life.

He graduated from Panama High School and then went on to Penn State and earned a degree in animal science. George was born January 29, 1935, in Bear Lake, a son to the late A.
